How do you ensure accurate translations?

Kia ora! I’m a certified translator, proudly holding my license since 2022. Since then, I’ve gained extensive experience translating a wide range of content across diverse areas of life — from everyday communications to specialised cultural and academic material.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Māori Studies and Linguistics, and have completed an Honours degree in Māori Linguistics, which has further deepened my understanding of the structure and vitality of te reo Māori. I’m currently completing a Master’s degree, specialising in the morphosyntax of the Māori language, exploring the intricate patterns and systems that shape our reo.

I’ve also completed Te Pīnakitanga ki te Reo Kairangi (Level 7) through Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, further strengthening my fluency and cultural competency in te reo Māori. For the past two years, I’ve been the kaiako (teacher) for Te Pīnakitanga ki te Reo Kairangi (Level 7), supporting tauira in their journey toward advanced fluency and cultural depth.

My translation work spans both modern and historical te reo Māori, including the transcription of old diaries and the interpretation of archival texts. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the evolution of language and the enduring wisdom held within our written taonga.

My mahi is grounded in cultural integrity, linguistic precision, and a deep respect for the richness of te ao Māori. Whether you're looking to translate documents, resources, or creative content, I bring both expertise and heart to every project.

Yes. We offer expedited translation services for urgent projects, including 24-hour and 48-hour turnaround options where available. To ensure we can meet your deadline, clients are encouraged to specify their required timeframe when submitting their request. Rush services may be subject to additional fees depending on the length, complexity, and urgency of the project.
